Steel Workshop, 54 Well Meadow Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Sheffield has a worldwide reputation for producing fine steel goods. This workshop was established in about 1860 and a selection of the scissors produced here can be seen on the workbench. At this site the work was undertaken on a small, almost cottage-industry,scale.
