Memorial south of Osney Lock, Oxford, Oxfordshire

This memorial was built in 1889. It commemorates a local man who saved two boys from drowning, but drowned himself. It has the inscription 'In memory of Edgar George Wilson who after rescuing two boys from drowning lost his life on June 15 1889 aged 21 years'.
