Epsom College, Epsom, Surrey

Epsom College was formerly the Royal Medical Benevolent College. It was built in 1853. It was set up by a Dr John Propert. He created a foundation that would benefit members of the medical profession and their families if they fell on hard times. By getting donations from wealthy doctors he hoped to provide a home for poor doctor's families. Including widows and a school for doctor's sons and local orphans.
