Cathedral Church of St Thomas, Portsmouth, Portsmouth

This Anglican cathedral was founded as a chapel in 1180. It was the chapel of an Austin (Augustinian) Priory. It became a parish church in 1320. It was damaged during the Civil War and repaired in 1683-93. It became a cathedral in 1927.
