Bishop Percy's House, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

This timber framed house is dated 1580. It is an excellent example of 'black and white work'. This refers to it's timbers and plaster-work. It is thought that Bishop Percy (Author of "Reliques of Ancient English Poetry") was born here in 1728.
