Description

Eighty-six sheets, dating from 1935 to 1994. From the mid- to late-1930s there are site plans, some of which are for reproduction, and drawings of a new gate. There is a site plan from 1950, survey drawings and designs for steel stairs and railings from the late-1950s and early-1960s.

There are two topographic survey plans from 1967, but most sheets from between 1966 and 1971 are maps, site plans, sections and elevations for reproduction. Additional copies of many of these drawings are also included, dating from 1980 and relating to a published article in the journal Medieval Archaeology.

Other later sheets include a guardianship plan from 1976, a drawing of exhibition boards from 1980, grounds maintenance plans from 1981, drawings of a new gate from 1993 and a scheme for sheep fencing from 1994.
