St Mary the Virgin Church in North Elmham is a Norman construction, located next to the site of East Anglia's first Anglo-Saxon cathedral, founded in 673. The church features flint construction with ashlar and brick dressings, and has a west tower, aisled nave with a south porch, and chancel with flanking chapels.
