Remains of St Nicholas College, Wallingford Castle, Wallingford

These ruins of uncoursed limestone rubble are probably date from the 13th century, with 15th, 16th century and later alterations, along with a 19th-century outbuilding attached to the north side. It is associated with Wallingford Castle, which was begun in 1067, completed in 1071, and demolished by Cromwell in 1652. These ruins formed part of St Nicholas's College, the King's Chapel in the Castle.
