Middleport Pottery, Port Street, Middleport, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire ST6 3PE

These Grade II*-listed pottery works were built between 1888 and 1889 of brick and terracotta. The site includes a Burgundy bottle oven, the largest now standing in Stoke-on-Trent, and remains in use as a working factory. The Lodge Keeper's House is set-dressed as a 1950s pottery worker's house and there is a heritage interpretation area highlighting the social and workplace history of the Middleport area and of the 'Potteries' region.

Opening Arrangements

Site is open every day except Christmas day, Boxing day and New years day 10am-4pm.
