This scheduled monument, sited 350 metres west of Butt Farm, is a well-preserved example of a mid-World War II heavy anti-aircraft site. It retains key features, including the command post and gun emplacements, reflecting the strategic importance of anti-aircraft defences during the war. Such sites are rare and nationally significant.
