Creeksea Place, 826 Ferry Rd, Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex CM0 8PJ

Grade II*- listed Creeksea Place, part of a large 16th-century red brick house completed in 1569, stands in a 30-acre park. Following the destruction of the south range in 1740 only the east and north wings remain. The house features original windows, chimney stacks, and a staircase, with a tiled roof and gabled dormers.

Opening Arrangements

We currently have confirmed the following events open to the public: 14th February- Valentines Day High Tea; 19th March- Mothers Day High Tea; 20th April- Easter Cream Tea; 17th May- Wizard School; 16th July- Wimbledon High Tea; 1st November- Harry Potter; 25th November- Wreath Making Course; 13th December- Christmas High Tea; 14th December- Christmas Market; 16th December- Wreath Making Course; 17th December- Wreath Making Course. Our first ‘Open Gardens’ event for 2025 will be hosted on Wednesday, April 23rd, and will occur every two weeks following. Each event will be coupled with an optional guided History Tour of the House. We will be hosting a series of yoga-meditation-ice bath retreats across the season, however all dates are TBD. All specific details of said events will be updated on our website-Social Media platforms closer to the time to allow for variables such as inclement weather etc. We are currently and constantly in talks with events coordinators and a theatre company with regards to additional events that we are planning for 2025, however the dates and details of which are still to be confirmed. The public remain welcome to visit by pre-booking via our office.
