Bourn Windmill is one of the oldest windmills in England and is Grade I listed as well as being designated as a scheduld monument. It is an open trestle post mill, meaning that the entire weight of the body is supported on a central post, which is then supported by a trestle. The mill is mentioned as standing in a 1636 deed. It was purchased by The Cambridgeshire Preservation Society in 1932.
Opening Arrangements
