Bastion 1 (Fortifications S of Trinity Church), Trinity Green, Gosport PO12 1HL

Bastion No 1 was built between 1797 and 1802 as part of the Gosport Lines and is designated as a scheduled monument. It is a rare example of a surviving bastioned defensive line and boasts historical interest through its links to Sir Bernard de Gomme
