Who We Share Your Personal Information With
Your information will be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes HR and recruitment team members, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, and managers in the business area with a vacancy who may support application review. Occasionally we may ask external interviewers to support us with the recruitment process.
At Historic England, we use Applied to operate our online application platform. This means that Applied processes the personal information you provide in your application to us on our behalf and in accordance with the instructions we set out. Please note, if you agree to Applied’s use of your personal information for their own purposes, Applied’s use of your personal information is subject to their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice, both of which can be accessed via their website.
Transfers of Personal Information
Historic England is a UK-based organisation, and our Recruitment Team and Hiring Managers are all based in the UK. However, we use the Applied platform to administer our recruitment process. Some of their service providers may be based or hold your personal information outside the UK. Where this is the case, Applied will ensure it has specific contracts approved for use in the UK (which give personal data the same level of protection it has in the UK) in accordance with our contract with Applied.
