Statue of Frederick Prince of Wales, Hartwell, Buckinghamshire

The statue was created in 1757 by John Cheere. The former Prince of Wales is perhaps most famous for being the father of King George III, who reigned as king from 1760 until 1820. A panel on this statue has inscribed "Frederick Prince of Wales, Eldest son of George II born 1707 Died 1757".
