St Thomas's Hospital (Weavers Hall), Cirencester, Gloucestershire
This building was built in the late 1400s. The almshouse was founded by Sir William Nottingham. He was Attorney-General to Edward IV. In his will of 1483 he left land in trust for 4 poor men living here. Baptist services are said to have been held here later. It is said that John Wesley preached here in 1787. It is thought to be oldest domestic building in Cirencester, continuously occupied since its foundation.
