Sheriffhales Manor, Sheriffhales, Shropshire

This timber framed house was built in the late 16th or early 17th century. It is possibly on the site of a fortified manor house documented in 1367. The Rev. John Woodhouse, Puritan Divine, kept on Academy or Provincial University here in c1675-1696. The house was heavily restored in 1952.
