Sheffield Botanical Gardens, Clarkehouse Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
The three glass pavilions at Sheffield Botanical Gardens. The Botanical gardens were laid out in 1834-36 by Robert Marnock. The pavilions were built in 1837-38. They were designed in the style of, and named for, Sir Joseph Paxton. They were originally linked by the open colonnades that can be clearly seen but were altered in the mid 20th century.
