Regent Street, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

An electric tram approaches the Town Hall. Horse drawn trams first ran in Great Yarmouth in 1902. In 1904 they were converted to run on electricity taken from overhead wires. The buildings are all banks or shops. The photograph is taken from just outside the Town Hall (right). The other building on the right was the London & Provincial Bank. The building on the left was an antiques shop owned by a John Beazor.
