Primary School, Piddletrenthide, Dorset
This school dates from 1848 and was built in a Gothic revival style 'for the education of children and adults or children only of the labouring manufacturing and other poorer classes in the Parish of Piddletrenthide'. The old building was replaced in 1999 with a modern school. The original school bell has been re-hung and is rung during joining and leaving ceremonies. The bust of the Founder is displayed in the Hall and stained glass windows were made by the children who made the transition in 1999 from the old to the new school.
