Oasthouses and Granary at Pickhill Farm, Smallhythe Road, Tenterden, Kent

A late 18th to early 19th century weatherboarded granary, 2 storeys high. To the right are 2 square brick oast houses with pyramidal tiled roofs, cowls and a conical oast. Such buildings were very large and expensive especially as they were only used for a short time each year when the hops needed to be dried after harvesting.
