Fishermen, Deal, Kent

Looking north along the sea front at Deal with holidaymakers walking along the promenade and fishermen busy on the shore. Deal has never had a harbour. The local fishing boats, known as Deal cutters, were simply pulled up onto the beach. The pier and bandstand can be seen in the background.
