Cross Keys Inn, Warwickshire
A group of people standing outside the Cross Keys Inn. Some of the boys are dressed in working smocks and could have been delivery boys. The inn is timber framed with a lot of decoration and the upper floor is jettied. The reverse of the print is marked with 'Warwick?', however so far no exact location for this inn has been found. 'The Cross Keys' was a popular name for inns during the period. Research suggests that in Warwickshere there were inns of this name in Warwick, Stratford and Alcester.
