Compton Verney House, Compton Verney, Warwickshire
This country house was built in c1714 and is attributed to Sir John Vanbrugh, with alterations and additions of 1761-65 by Robert Adam and alterations of 1855 by John Gibson. It is an important house, in grounds that were landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
