Church of St Nicholas, Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Parts of this church date back to the late 1100s. It was built by the Benedictine Abbey for the use of the lay members. Its south wall was pulled down in a riot of 1327. A bell tower was added in the 15th century, the current bells are from 1741. The river Stert runs underneath it.
