Blagraves House, 30-32 The Bank, Barnard Castle, Durham

Blagrave's House appears 17th-century in style, possibly with a medieval core: a plaster ceiling is dated 1672. The three light window has been much restored. At the time of photographing it served as a cafe. A passage or 'vennel' called Broadgate runs up beside the house.
