Auckland Castle Gateway, Bishop Auckland, Durham
The Castle gateway and gates was built in 1760 and designed by Sir Thomas Robinson of Rokeby for Bishop William Trevor. It was built in a Gothic style with an arch for vehicles and pedestrian arches on each side.
