There are 752 items in this folder. Although there are a few later copies of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century drawings and maps, most sheets range in date from architectural survey drawings created in 1978 to electrical services plans made between 2006 and 2013.
Most items date from between 1980-2006, and include architectural survey drawings of the house, castle and estate buildings, plant surveys and planting plans, improved access and car parking facilities, repairs to the buildings, drainage drawings, and electrical services drawings. One sheet presents a family tree of the Middleton family, traditional owners of the estate. The drawings were created by the Department of the Environment and English Heritage, using a range of contractors.
During the late twentieth century an oversized drawing of a copy of a plan of the hall, castle and the surrounding area was also produced. From 2011 there are several survey drawings of the rhododendron garden and kennels, and there is a topographic survey from 2013.
