Fifty-seven sheets, dating from the early twentieth century to 2007. A number of drawings probably date from the 1920s and early 1930s and include copies of plans reproduced from the Victoria County History of Hertfordshire and the Ordnance Survey, text for a warning notice, blueprint copies relating to work on the south wall, drawings of a proposed moat bridge, and plans for reproduction. From 1938 there are drawings showing proposed fencing for the site, and drainage for the caretaker's quarters.
Post-war sheets include a well cover design and drawings of the keep staircase from the late 1940s, a survey of the custodian's residence from 1952 and a plan of Berkhamsted from 1955, derived from an Ordnance Survey map.
There are a number of sheets from the 1960s and 1970s, including the design for a showcase from 1964, excavation drawings and a survey of an outbuilding from 1969, a site appraisal plan from 1972 and drawings from 1973 relating to the conversion of the west room of the custodian's cottage to a sales office.
From the 1980s there are several sheets of survey drawings and rectified photographic elevations of the castle walls, and an electrical services drawing of the custodian's cottage. Further electrical and water services drawings are included, dating from 1990 and 1991.
The most recent sheets are copies of layout and electrical layout plans of the custodian's cottage, from 2006 and 2007.
