There are 531 drawings in this file. They range in date from surveys of the hall carried out by the City of Manchester Wythenshawe Estate Committee in September 1949, to proposals for works to be carried out by Donald Insall and Associates in 2004 - 2005.
Other main groups of drawings include surveys carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Buildings in 1969, after the site came into their guardianship; surveys of the roof carried out by the Department of the Environment in 1974; drawings of dismantled timbers, and drawings recording the repair work undertaken to each timber, created in 1976 and 1977 as part of the restoration programme; and electrical services drawings for the building created during the 1980s. One oversized drawing of a copy of a plan of the hall and its environment showing the boundary markers was produced during the late 20th century.
