An album of 31 prints, 17 of which are black-and-white and 14 which are colour. 12 prints are Department of the Environment images from 1983. The 14 colour prints are of uncertain origin and date from 1975. Finally, there are five black-and-white prints, three of which relate to chimney stack repairs, which are also of uncertain origin and mostly appear to date from the 1940s or 1950s.
The album originates with Cleeve Abbey's own photographic archive - it is red rather than blue - and the captions are derived from an assessment made by archaeological consultant Veronica Fiorato between February and March 2000. The assessment document is included with the album.
