Description

An album of 9 pages containing 15 black and white and 3 colour photographs showing detailed views of the stonework of the medieval keep constructed by Henry II as a coastal defence during the twelfth century.

All were taken between September and October 1983.

All but one have been catalogued at album level only. The black and white photographs belong to the negative run A1028 (A10928/1 - A10928/15).

The colour prints only have the site and date information on the reverse.
