The brass finishing workshop of gas apparatus manufacturers William Sugg & Co Limited. This photograph was used at the time to illustrate the wartime work of William Sugg & Company. During the First World War the Vincent Street Works were involved in the manufacture of shell components. It was one of many businesses who had to adapt their work to support the war effort.
