The 77 days are made up of the following: 24 days with free access; visitors are asked to notify their intention to visit to give us an idea of numbers, but it is not essential. 53 days with paid guided tours taking in additional areas of the castle. ‘Out of season’ dates have proved popular in previous years, and for these dates visitors are asked to notify their intention to visit to give us an idea of numbers.
